7/7: i bet you guys thought we were DEAD, huh? well, guess again, savvy. DS is back in full swing up until August 20th, when we have another backyard blowout. Details are available on request.

6/17: a huge thank you goes out to everyone who made it to our show yesterday, we had a blast!! Thanks also to False Paradise for playing with us, and we hope to play shows with you guys in the future. DVDs are being made of the show, so email me if you want to buy one ($1). Also, we have souvenir signed drumsticks from both bands from the venue, and if anyone is interested in those, email me. only one from each band is available! -mike

5/6:Well, everyone welcome our new bassist ZACH to the mix, he brings a sense of musical genius and hilarity. As for trey...i'm sad to report that trey and DS have parted ways. Seems things arent always what they appear. But that wont stop the flow, and a whole slew of new material has been written. In other news...DS makes the Trinity yearbook! rock the hell on. -mike

4/6: Long time no see...the lineup changes around here seem never ending...as of now mike, chaz, and zach are for sure in the band, josh phillips is rumored to be the drummer, and ben might possibly be another guitarist. thats all for now.

3/2: Hello friends and such.... DS has scrounged up the money for their very own recording studio... WOOP. anyway, thats gonna rock. ANNDDD... there's rumor of a MUSIC VIDEO that we might make... thats right, kiddies. No MTV tho...we promise. In other news...support HWT this weekend at the lower room Battle of the Bands. They play at 6:00pm sharp. don't miss it.

1/18: Uh, Hey guys...we're hard at work writing some new stuff...we should have our demo ready in a week or two. its good stuff, although charlie has bouts with his alzheimers and forgets the tunes to some our songs, so we end up re-writing them, but thats life for ya. charlie also left his car keys and two movies on top of my dads van as he drove off...so now Jackass and Bill Cosby are roadkill somewhere on 2nd Loop....fortunatly the keys were recovered. thats life in the shoes of distorted silence.

12/10: Hey dudes! This is Mike, trying to figure out this new site that was made for us by the genius Mr. Kyle Anderson. I think it looks rad, but i'll have to figure out how to work this, right now i'm updating it in pure HTML mode, which is tough when you have the IQ of a cricket. Anyway, let me know if you like it...none of the links work, but they will if i decide to keep it.
